Divorce certificate prepared for a cross-border estate matter in Spain

A Irish client based in Chiang Mai, Thailand needed a Thai divorce certificate accepted for a cross-border estate matter in Spain. We handled the full certification chain end to end.

The client contacted us on LINE and sent the originals by tracked courier. Our first step was a document review against the receiving authority's current checklist for Spain, because acceptance rules differ by authority and are revised regularly. We confirmed which certification layers were genuinely required before any work started, so nothing unnecessary was paid for.

Under our Work Permit & Business Visa Documents workflow we then completed each required layer in the correct order. Order matters: a translation certified before the underlying record is re-issued, or an embassy attestation attempted before Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalisation, is routinely rejected and has to be repeated.

Before hand-over we checked names, dates, spellings against the passport, seal placement and page numbering, and delivered the completed set by tracked courier or in person at our Lat Phrao office in Bangkok.
