Do Thai name-change certificates (Por Kor/Sor Yor) require prior district office authentication before MFA review?
MFA legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs is the mandatory step before a Thai document is accepted abroad, and the prerequisite for destination-embassy (dual) legalisation
Because destination embassies require a valid MFA stamp first, MFA legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs is the mandatory step before a Thai document is accepted abroad, and the prerequisite for destination-embassy (dual) legalisation. Once legalised, your official Thai documents are accepted as required by the receiving authority without being returned for a missing MFA stamp. Tell us the destination country and purpose — we bundle translation → MFA legalisation → embassy attestation in one run.
