Output formats — PDF, hard copy, bilingual
Police Clearance Certificate translations from NAATI Thailand are available in four formats; pick whichever your destination authority requires.
Format 1. Digital PDF with electronic signature (Adobe Sign / DocuSign) — accepted by ImmiAccount and AHPRA online
Format 2. Bilingual side-by-side layout (Thai-English) — easier for case officers to verify
Format 3. Certified True Copy — the NAATI translator certifies a copy of the original as a true copy
Format 4. Hard copy with embossed seal and wet-ink signature — required by some solicitors and notaries
Most clients choose Digital PDF for online lodgement plus a single hard-copy backup. If you're unsure, tell us the destination authority and we'll select the right format.
5 common mistakes with Police Clearance Certificate — and how to avoid them
These are common problems with Police Clearance Certificate submissions. Checking them before lodgement reduces the risk of a request for further information.
1. Using a self-translation or non-NAATI translator — DHA and AHPRA reject these immediately and request a re-submission
2. Inconsistent name spellings across documents (passport vs. birth certificate) — usually requires an additional Statutory Declaration
3. Mistranslating Thai government terminology (e.g., translating 'Amphoe' as 'District', confusing it with Bangkok districts)
4. Incomplete scans of the source document (missing back pages, stamps, or signatures), forcing a redo of the work
5. Failing to translate stamps and signatures — DHA returns the file as 'incomplete translation'
Acceptance is decided by the receiving authority; a correct translation does not guarantee an outcome.
Documents typically translated together (story bundle)
Police Clearance Certificate is rarely translated on its own — most clients order it as part of a bundle for a visa, skills assessment or course application. NAATI Thailand offers 10-15% bundle pricing when documents are ordered together.
Skilled / PR bundle (subclass 189/190): Police Clearance Certificate + Police Clearance (PCC) + Bank Statement + Employment Letter + Degree + Transcript. We archive the full bundle so you can re-download for up to 5 years.
Partner Visa bundle (subclass 820/801, 309/100): Police Clearance Certificate + Marriage Certificate + Statutory Declaration + ID Card + House Registration. We can liaise directly with your migration agent or solicitor.
Citizenship by Descent bundle: Police Clearance Certificate + child's birth certificate + parents' passports + parents' marriage certificate. Bundling typically saves สอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่ versus ordering separately.
