How far must a degree certificate be translated and legalised to be accepted for changing employer?
A work permit file has two halves —
What to understand before you start collecting documents: a work permit file has two halves — the employer side (company affidavit, shareholder list, VAT registration, financial statements, tax filings) and the employee side (passport, degree, experience letters, medical certificate). Every foreign-issued document must be translated into Thai and certified before filing. We prepare the documents used in work permit and business visa files — certified translation, notarial certification, MFA legalisation and embassy attestation. Approval remains at the discretion of the Department of Employment and Immigration Bureau. If you are outside Bangkok, ask our staff about sending documents by post.
