How do I prepare a marriage licence (Kor Ror 3) for Thai family court proceedings, and how long does it take?
After registration the documents most often requested next are the marriage certificate (Kor Ror 3) and the marriage register extract (Kor Ror 2).
Short answer: after registration the documents most often requested next are the marriage certificate (Kor Ror 3) and the marriage register extract (Kor Ror 2). Both need a fresh translation and certification for spouse visa filing, civil-status updates or notifying an overseas authority, so ordering them together reduces the number of rounds. This can run alongside NAATI translation, police clearance and Apostille work in a single file.
