5 common mistakes with Professional License / Registration Certificate — and how to avoid them
These are common problems with Professional License / Registration Certificate submissions. Checking them before lodgement reduces the risk of a request for further information.
1. Incomplete scans of the source document (missing back pages, stamps, or signatures), forcing a redo of the work
2. Using a self-translation or non-NAATI translator — DHA and AHPRA reject these immediately and request a re-submission
3. Inconsistent name spellings across documents (passport vs. birth certificate) — usually requires an additional Statutory Declaration
4. Submitting expired evidence (police clearance and medical certificates expire after 12 months)
5. Mistranslating Thai government terminology (e.g., translating 'Amphoe' as 'District', confusing it with Bangkok districts)
Acceptance is decided by the receiving authority; a correct translation does not guarantee an outcome.

Partner Visa bundle (subclass 820/801, 309/100): Professional License / Registration Certificate + Marriage Certificate + Statutory Declaration + ID Card + House Registration. We can liaise directly with your migration agent or solicitor.
Citizenship by Descent bundle: Professional License / Registration Certificate + child's birth certificate + parents' passports + parents' marriage certificate. Bundling typically saves สอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่ versus ordering separately.
