Company Affidavit / Certificate Apostille for Sao Tome and Principe — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Apostille desk for the Thai Company Affidavit / Certificate (issued by Department of Business Development), with end-to-end delivery to Sao Tome and Principe 🇸🇹. We translate, notarise and walk the file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Watthana under one job number — the workflow most consulates, universities and immigration officers in Sao Tome and Principe expect to see.
Why Apostille (not Embassy Legalisation) for Sao Tome and Principe — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Sao Tome and Principe is a Hague member, which means a single Thai MFA legalization stamp replaces the previous Embassy-of-Sao Tome and Principe legalisation step. The chain is shorter, the cost is lower, and the apostille is internationally verifiable from a register number.
Certified translation requirement — Receiving authorities in Sao Tome and Principe require the Company Affidavit / Certificate in โปรตุเกส. The translation must be performed by a Tradutor juramentado + Apostille. We allocate the job to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience; the file is bilingually proofread by a second linguist before notarisation.
Document preparation before MFA — หนังสือรับรองตัวจริง (อายุไม่เกิน 30 วัน) + แปล + Notary. ต้องขอใหม่ทุกครั้ง — อายุ 30 วันเท่านั้น. We confirm the romanised spelling of your name against your passport bio-page in writing before drafting, so the apostilled translation matches every other Sao Tome and Principe-side filing (visa, civil registry, university, professional council).
