Unlike civil-law countries that use government notaries, Thailand delegates notarial functions to specially trained attorneys, whose seal and signature are recognised by Thai authorities, foreign embassies, and apostille-issuing offices around the world.
For บริษัทไทยที่ต้องส่งโครงสร้างผู้ถือหุ้นให้ธนาคาร/นักลงทุนต่างประเทศ; บริษัทขอวีซ่านักลงทุนให้ผู้ถือหุ้น, a properly executed BOJ.5 Shareholder List Notarization is the gateway document to nearly every cross-border transaction. Whether you are submitting paperwork to ธนาคารต่างประเทศ (KYC/AML), BOI, สถานทูตเพื่อขอวีซ่านักลงทุน, Apostille, the notarial seal is the single piece of evidence that proves your signature is genuine, that you appeared in person, and that you understood the document's contents at the time of signing.
