How do I apostille a Thai Police Clearance Certificate for Indonesia?
NAATI Thailand handles the full Thai-Apostille workflow for the Police Clearance Certificate destined for Indonesia 🇮🇩: (1) certified translation by a registered translator into อินโดนีเซีย, (2) Notary Public certification of the translator's signature, (3) MFA legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Watthana). Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, until then, embassy legalisation may still be required for Indonesia — confirm the current chain with the receiving authority. Package quoted on request, turnaround 7–10 วันทำการ. Scan-first via LINE @NAATI from anywhere in Thailand or overseas.

Police Clearance Certificate Apostille for Indonesia — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Apostille desk for the Thai Police Clearance Certificate (issued by Royal Thai Police HQ), with end-to-end delivery to Indonesia 🇮🇩. We translate, notarise and walk the file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Watthana under one job number — the workflow most consulates, universities and immigration officers in Indonesia expect to see.
Why Apostille (not Embassy Legalisation) for Indonesia — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Indonesia is a Hague member, which means a single Thai MFA legalization stamp replaces the previous Embassy-of-Indonesia legalisation step. The chain is shorter, the cost is lower, and the apostille is internationally verifiable from a register number.
Certified translation requirement — Receiving authorities in Indonesia require the Police Clearance Certificate in อินโดนีเซีย. The translation must be performed by a Penerjemah Tersumpah + Apostille. We allocate the job to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience; the file is bilingually proofread by a second linguist before notarisation.
Document preparation before MFA — PCC ตัวจริง + แปลอังกฤษโดย Sworn + Notary + การรับรองนิติกรณ์ MFA. PCC มีอายุ 3–6 เดือน — Apostille รวดเร็วตามคิวของหน่วยงาน. We confirm the romanised spelling of your name against your passport bio-page in writing before drafting, so the apostilled translation matches every other Indonesia-side filing (visa, civil registry, university, professional council).

Why receiving authorities accept our package — Each apostilled bundle leaves our chambers with: original Thai document (or certified true copy), certified อินโดนีเซีย translation on letterhead with translator's signature and stamp, Notary Public seal certifying the translator's signature, MFA legalization on the translation (and original where required), and a numbered certificate of accuracy. This is the exact stack Indonesia consulates, civil registries and the receiving authority routinely accept.
Working tips for Indonesia-bound clients — Send the sharpest scan you can (300 dpi or better, all four corners visible). Tell us the receiving authority by name so we can pick the correct certification template. Allow 7–10 วันทำการ for the full chain. If you need an apostilled hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we will bundle the courier into the quote.
