How do I apostille a Thai Court Judgment / Order for Bahamas?
NAATI Thailand handles the full Thai-Apostille workflow for the Court Judgment / Order destined for Bahamas 🇧🇸: (1) certified translation by a registered translator into English, (2) Notary Public certification of the translator's signature, (3) MFA legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Watthana). Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, until then, embassy legalisation may still be required for Bahamas — confirm the current chain with the receiving authority. Package quoted on request, turnaround 10–14 วันทำการ. Scan-first via LINE @NAATI from anywhere in Thailand or overseas.

Court Judgment / Order Apostille for Bahamas — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Apostille desk for the Thai Court Judgment / Order (issued by Court of Justice), with end-to-end delivery to Bahamas 🇧🇸. We translate, notarise and walk the file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Watthana under one job number — the workflow most consulates, universities and immigration officers in Bahamas expect to see.
Why Apostille (not Embassy Legalisation) for Bahamas — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Bahamas is a Hague member, which means a single Thai MFA legalization stamp replaces the previous Embassy-of-Bahamas legalisation step. The chain is shorter, the cost is lower, and the apostille is internationally verifiable from a register number.
Certified translation requirement — Receiving authorities in Bahamas require the Court Judgment / Order in English. The translation must be performed by a Notarised + Apostille. We allocate the job to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience; the file is bilingually proofread by a second linguist before notarisation.
Document preparation before MFA — คำพิพากษาตราครุฑจากศาล + แปล + Notary. บางประเทศต้อง legalisation เพิ่มแม้ Apostille ผ่านแล้ว. We confirm the romanised spelling of your name against your passport bio-page in writing before drafting, so the apostilled translation matches every other Bahamas-side filing (visa, civil registry, university, professional council).
Typical use cases in Bahamas — บังคับคดีต่างประเทศ; หย่าศาล; พินัยกรรม; Marriage Registration; Spouse Visa; Student Visa.
Why receiving authorities accept our package — Each apostilled bundle leaves our chambers with: original Thai document (or certified true copy), certified English translation on letterhead with translator's signature and stamp, Notary Public seal certifying the translator's signature, MFA legalization on the translation (and original where required), and a numbered certificate of accuracy. This is the exact stack Bahamas consulates, civil registries and the receiving authority routinely accept.
Working tips for Bahamas-bound clients — Send the sharpest scan you can (300 dpi or better, all four corners visible). Tell us the receiving authority by name so we can pick the correct certification template. Allow 10–14 วันทำการ for the full chain. If you need an apostilled hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we will bundle the courier into the quote.
