How do I apostille a Thai Police Clearance Certificate for Brazil?
NAATI Thailand handles the full Thai-Apostille workflow for the Police Clearance Certificate destined for Brazil 🇧🇷: (1) certified translation by a registered translator into โปรตุเกสบราซิล, (2) Notary Public certification of the translator's signature, (3) MFA legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Watthana). Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, until then, embassy legalisation may still be required for Brazil — confirm the current chain with the receiving authority. Package quoted on request, turnaround 7–10 วันทำการ. Scan-first via LINE @NAATI from anywhere in Thailand or overseas.

Police Clearance Certificate Apostille for Brazil — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Apostille desk for the Thai Police Clearance Certificate (issued by Royal Thai Police HQ), with end-to-end delivery to Brazil 🇧🇷. We translate, notarise and walk the file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Watthana under one job number — the workflow most consulates, universities and immigration officers in Brazil expect to see.
Why Apostille (not Embassy Legalisation) for Brazil — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Brazil is a Hague member, which means a single Thai MFA legalization stamp replaces the previous Embassy-of-Brazil legalisation step. The chain is shorter, the cost is lower, and the apostille is internationally verifiable from a register number.
Certified translation requirement — Receiving authorities in Brazil require the Police Clearance Certificate in โปรตุเกสบราซิล. The translation must be performed by a Tradutor Público Juramentado + Apostille. We allocate the job to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience; the file is bilingually proofread by a second linguist before notarisation.
Document preparation before MFA — PCC ตัวจริง + แปลอังกฤษโดย Sworn + Notary + การรับรองนิติกรณ์ MFA. PCC มีอายุ 3–6 เดือน — Apostille รวดเร็วตามคิวของหน่วยงาน. We confirm the romanised spelling of your name against your passport bio-page in writing before drafting, so the apostilled translation matches every other Brazil-side filing (visa, civil registry, university, professional council).

Why receiving authorities accept our package — Each apostilled bundle leaves our chambers with: original Thai document (or certified true copy), certified โปรตุเกสบราซิล translation on letterhead with translator's signature and stamp, Notary Public seal certifying the translator's signature, MFA legalization on the translation (and original where required), and a numbered certificate of accuracy. This is the exact stack Brazil consulates, civil registries and the receiving authority routinely accept.
Working tips for Brazil-bound clients — Send the sharpest scan you can (300 dpi or better, all four corners visible). Tell us the receiving authority by name so we can pick the correct certification template. Allow 7–10 วันทำการ for the full chain. If you need an apostilled hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we will bundle the courier into the quote.
