What is a Notarized Will / Last Testament Notarization in Thailand?

A notarized Will / Last Testament Notarization in Thailand is a private legal instrument signed before a Notarial Services Attorney — a Thai-licensed lawyer registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Notarial Services Attorney Regulation B.E. 2546 (2003). Unlike civil-law countries that use government notaries, Thailand delegates notarial functions to specially trained attorneys, whose seal and signature are recognised by Thai authorities, foreign embassies, and apostille-issuing offices around the world.

For ผู้ที่มีทรัพย์สินในต่างประเทศ; ผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องการจัดการมรดก; ผู้ที่มีคู่สมรสต่างชาติ, a properly executed Will / Last Testament Notarization is the gateway document to nearly every cross-border transaction. Whether you are submitting paperwork to Foreign probate courts, Foreign banks, Foreign property registries, the notarial seal is the single piece of evidence that proves your signature is genuine, that you appeared in person, and that you understood the document's contents at the time of signing. Without this seal, foreign authorities will reject your file outright.
