Thai PCC for New Zealand from Ubon Ratchathani — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) desk for clients lodging in Ubon Ratchathani, with end-to-end delivery to New Zealand 🇳🇿. The Thai PCC (issued by the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division) is a mandatory supporting document for almost every long-stay visa, partner / spouse application, employer-sponsored migration, professional licensing and citizenship matter handled by Immigration New Zealand (INZ).
Ubon Ratchathani workflow — Most clients in Ubon Ratchathani cannot travel to the Royal Thai Police HQ in Bangkok for fingerprinting. We send a Por.Or.1 fingerprint kit to the nearest provincial / metropolitan police station, you book a 15-minute appointment to print ten fingers, and our courier returns the kit to our office. From there, the PCC application, translation, notary, MFA all happen under one job number.
Why English certified translation is required for New Zealand — Immigration New Zealand (INZ) requires a NAATI Certified หรือ Translator Society of NZ (NZSTI) translation of the Thai PCC. We assign the file to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience handling Royal Thai Police documents specifically; a second linguist cross-checks the romanised spelling against the bio-page of your passport before the certification block is sealed.
MFA route — Apostille (Hague Convention) — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. As a Hague member state, New Zealand now accepts a single Thai MFA Apostille on the certified translation; the previous Embassy-of-New Zealand legalisation step is no longer required. We walk every file through MFA at Chaeng Watthana ourselves — no third-party agents, no surprise queues.
Validity window — 6 เดือนนับจากวันที่ออก. We time the MFA submission so the apostilled / legalised PCC lands within the acceptance window of Immigration New Zealand (INZ). If your visa or licensing timeline shifts, we can re-MFA an existing translation provided the underlying PCC is still inside validity, saving you the cost of a full re-issue.
Typical use cases routed to New Zealand — Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa; Partner of a New Zealander Resident Visa; Work to Residence Visa; Investor 1 & 2 Resident Visa. Each use case has a slightly different acceptance window and stamp expectation, and we pre-flight every file against the latest Immigration New Zealand (INZ) guidance.
Step-by-step workflow from Ubon Ratchathani — (1) ทีมเรายื่นขอ PCC ที่แจ้งวัฒนะในนามลูกค้า (POA + สำเนาเอกสาร); (2) รับ PCC แล้วส่ง NAATI Translator แปล; (3) (ทางเลือก) ขอ Apostille ที่กรมการกงสุล + 3-5 วัน; (4) ส่ง EMS / DHL ถึงลูกค้า + scan PDF อัปโหลด INZ Online.
Working tips for New Zealand-bound applicants in Ubon Ratchathani — Send a clear photograph of your passport bio-page on intake so the romanised spelling is locked. Book the fingerprint appointment at your local station early in the week so the kit reaches us by Friday. Tell us the lodgement date in New Zealand so we backsolve the MFA submission slot. If you need the apostilled / legalised hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we bundle the courier into the quote.
