Thai PCC for Bahrain from Ratchaburi — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) desk for clients lodging in Ratchaburi, with end-to-end delivery to Bahrain 🇧🇭. The Thai PCC (issued by the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division) is a mandatory supporting document for almost every long-stay visa, partner / spouse application, employer-sponsored migration, professional licensing and citizenship matter handled by LMRA — Labour Market Regulatory Authority.
Ratchaburi workflow — Most clients in Ratchaburi cannot travel to the Royal Thai Police HQ in Bangkok for fingerprinting. We send a Por.Or.1 fingerprint kit to the nearest provincial / metropolitan police station, you book a 15-minute appointment to print ten fingers, and our courier returns the kit to our office. From there, the PCC application, translation, notary, MFA and Embassy of Bahrain authentication all happen under one job number.
Why Arabic + English certified translation is required for Bahrain — LMRA — Labour Market Regulatory Authority requires a Sworn Arabic + Embassy Auth translation of the Thai PCC. We assign the file to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience handling Royal Thai Police documents specifically; a second linguist cross-checks the romanised spelling against the bio-page of your passport before the certification block is sealed.
MFA route — Legalisation — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. As a Hague member state, Bahrain now accepts a single Thai MFA Apostille on the certified translation; the previous Embassy-of-Bahrain legalisation step is no longer required. We walk every file through MFA at Chaeng Watthana ourselves — no third-party agents, no surprise queues.
Validity window — 6-12 เดือนนับจากวันออก. We time the MFA submission so the apostilled / legalised PCC lands within the acceptance window of LMRA — Labour Market Regulatory Authority. If your visa or licensing timeline shifts, we can re-MFA an existing translation provided the underlying PCC is still inside validity, saving you the cost of a full re-issue.
Typical use cases routed to Bahrain — Skilled Migration; Spousal Visa; Work Visa; Permanent Residence. Each use case has a slightly different acceptance window and stamp expectation, and we pre-flight every file against the latest LMRA — Labour Market Regulatory Authority guidance.
Step-by-step workflow from Ratchaburi — (1) ขอ Thai PCC ที่ Royal Thai Police (Phaholyothin); (2) MFA Apostille; (3) Certified Translation; (4) ส่งหน่วยงานปลายทาง.
Working tips for Bahrain-bound applicants in Ratchaburi — Send a clear photograph of your passport bio-page on intake so the romanised spelling is locked. Book the fingerprint appointment at your local station early in the week so the kit reaches us by Friday. Tell us the lodgement date in Bahrain so we backsolve the MFA submission slot. If you need the apostilled / legalised hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we bundle the courier into the quote.
