Does an internship or exchange visa for the United States require MFA legalisation of Thai documents?

Following Department of Consular Affairs practice and Bangkok visa application centre requirements, timing to allow: Translation + certification 1–3 business days · MFA legalisation 3–5 business days (express 1–2) · full chain including embassy 5–10 business days. Add another 3–5 business days when dependants are included or many certificates are involved, since each one repeats the same certification chain and some embassies require a pre-booked lodgement appointment. Note: the approval decision belongs to the destination authority; our role is to make the document set correct and complete.
