How many business days should I allow to prepare documents for an internship or exchange visa for China?

The approach receiving authorities accept is this: timing to allow: Translation + certification 1–3 business days · MFA legalisation 3–5 business days (express 1–2) · full chain including embassy 5–10 business days. Add another 3–5 business days when dependants are included or many certificates are involved, since each one repeats the same certification chain and some embassies require a pre-booked lodgement appointment. Tell us the destination country and visa subclass and we bundle translation → notarisation → MFA legalisation → embassy attestation in one run.
