How do I apostille a Thai Power of Attorney for Dominican Republic?
NAATI Thailand handles the full Thai-Apostille workflow for the Power of Attorney destined for Dominican Republic 🇩🇴: (1) certified translation by a registered translator into สเปน, (2) Notary Public certification of the translator's signature, (3) MFA legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Watthana). Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, until then, embassy legalisation may still be required for Dominican Republic — confirm the current chain with the receiving authority. Package quoted on request, turnaround 5–7 วันทำการ. Scan-first via LINE @NAATI from anywhere in Thailand or overseas.

Power of Attorney Apostille for Dominican Republic — end-to-end workflow
NAATI Thailand operates a dedicated Apostille desk for the Thai Power of Attorney (issued by Notary Public), with end-to-end delivery to Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. We translate, notarise and walk the file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Watthana under one job number — the workflow most consulates, universities and immigration officers in Dominican Republic expect to see.
Why Apostille (not Embassy Legalisation) for Dominican Republic — Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Dominican Republic is a Hague member, which means a single Thai MFA legalization stamp replaces the previous Embassy-of-Dominican Republic legalisation step. The chain is shorter, the cost is lower, and the apostille is internationally verifiable from a register number.
Certified translation requirement — Receiving authorities in Dominican Republic require the Power of Attorney in สเปน. The translation must be performed by a Interprete Judicial + Apostille. We allocate the job to a senior translator with at least 8 years of certified-translation experience; the file is bilingually proofread by a second linguist before notarisation.
Document preparation before MFA — ลงนาม Notary Public + การรับรองนิติกรณ์ MFA. ลงนามต่อหน้า Notary Public เท่านั้น. We confirm the romanised spelling of your name against your passport bio-page in writing before drafting, so the apostilled translation matches every other Dominican Republic-side filing (visa, civil registry, university, professional council).
Typical use cases in Dominican Republic — มอบอำนาจขายอสังหา; มอบอำนาจจดทะเบียนบริษัท; ดำเนินคดีต่างประเทศ; Marriage Registration; Spouse Visa; Student Visa. We have routed Power of Attorney apostille files to Dominican Republic for partner / family visas, study, work permits, marriage registration, citizenship by descent, civil-status updates, and corporate / banking matters.
Dominican Republic.
Why receiving authorities accept our package — Each apostilled bundle leaves our chambers with: original Thai document (or certified true copy), certified สเปน translation on letterhead with translator's signature and stamp, Notary Public seal certifying the translator's signature, MFA legalization on the translation (and original where required), and a numbered certificate of accuracy. This is the exact stack Dominican Republic consulates, civil registries and the receiving authority routinely accept.
Working tips for Dominican Republic-bound clients — Send the sharpest scan you can (300 dpi or better, all four corners visible). Tell us the receiving authority by name so we can pick the correct certification template. Allow 5–7 วันทำการ for the full chain. If you need an apostilled hard-copy delivered overseas, request DHL on intake and we will bundle the courier into the quote.
