CR-1 / IR-1 Spouse Visa (USA) — Green Card

CR-1 / IR-1 Process 2026 — 4 Stages

Stage 1: US spouse ยื่น I-130 Petition for Alien Relative ที่ USCIS — processing 10-14 เดือน (2026)

Stage 2: NVC (National Visa Center) เปิดเคส → collect DS-260 + civil documents + Affidavit of Support I-864 → Documentarily Qualified

Stage 3: AIT Bangkok schedule interview → Medical + biometrics + interview

Stage 4: Approved → visa in passport + immigrant packet → เข้า US ภายใน 6 เดือน → GC mailed 60-90 วัน

CR-1 vs IR-1 — Conditional vs Permanent

CR-1: แต่งงาน <2 ปีตอน visa approved → 2-year Conditional GC → ยื่น I-751 90 วันก่อนหมด → 10-year GC

ทั้งสองได้: work authorization, travel, path to citizenship (3 ปี หลัง GC สำหรับ spouse of USC)

I-751 ต้องพิสูจน์ bona fide marriage: photos, lease, joint accounts, taxes filed jointly

USCIS Certified Translation Standard

8 CFR 103.2(b)(3): 'Any document in a foreign language must be accompanied by a full English translation which the translator has certified as complete and correct'

NAATI Thailand ใช้ ATA-affiliated + NAATI-certified — accept 100% โดย USCIS + NVC + AIT

RFE risk

NVC Document Package — Civil Documents

Birth Certificate: สูติบัตร คร.1 — ถ้าไม่มี ให้ใช้ certificate of birth registration (ทร.1/1)

Military Records:

AIT Bangkok Immigrant Visa Interview

AIT Wireless Rd —

DS-260 + bona fide relationship + intent to reside US

หลัง approve: visa foil 5-7 วัน → immigrant packet sealed → USCIS payment $220 IV fee online → เข้า US ภายใน 6 เดือน

Cost Comparison: CR-1 vs K-1 (Total 2026)

CR-1: I-130 $675 + NVC $445 + Medical $250 + Translation $300 = ~$1,700 + GC

K-1: I-129F $675 + DS-160 $265 + Medical $250 + Translation $300 = ~$1,500 + I-485 AOS $1,760 + $560 EAD = ~$3,800 total
